I got to go to the Blue Mountains area today with the rest of my study abroad group! We started off at one of the local nature preserves, where I got to see koalas and kangaroos, as well as other native animals, and after getting something to eat, we headed to the mountains themselves, even taking an air rail type thing to get there. From there, we did a lot of walking and hiking, and I got some quality photos as well, which I hope to upload as soon as possible.
Incidentally, not long after the Blue Mountains trip is over, we’re also heading to a small town named Cobar in New South Wales, because our leader thinks it might be relevant to what we’re talking about, and I’m looking forward to another field trip, lack of sleep entailed and all. I’m planning on documenting everything there too just like I did in the Blue Mountains, and thanks to that, a special project that I’ve been working on is almost complete.
